They say it will undermine traditional marriage. That a child should grow up in a house with a mom and a dad. Traditionally Marriage is between a man and woman because God so ordained it.





The other side , a child should grow up in a house with love. If there is a mom and a dad and one or both are drunks, abusive etc... how can that be better.





Traditions are made all the time and the new tradition can be man and man, woman and woman, man and woman. If it is done for a number of years there is tradition in that.





God does not condemn gay LOVE in the Bible, he does condemn, rape, lust, incest, eating pork, cutting your hair, having sex during a woman's cycle.





They said the giving Women the right to Vote would have a negative effect and the down fall to society. Has the happened? Ending slavery and giving blacks rights would be the end of the world. Has that happened. Allowing blacks and whites to marry was also a big debate up till the early 70's has the world blown up?
