Husbands and wives should have an equal amount of responsibility. No one should do more than the other rather they should be working as a team to get things done or to build the marriage up. For example, if the house needs to be clean or if the children need to be taken care of, do it together. You should never burden the other person by having him or her do everything by themselves! Both partners should be giving 100 % of themselves to their marriage. There are several duties for both husbands and wives. For instance, there should be respect, trust, loyalty, friendship, faithfulness, unconditional love, etc. Love should always be reciprocated not given by only one person.
To be caring, faithful, committed to you and to the kids, share chores and weekly shopping, share with kid schedules and homework, attend their sports.





In all, be faithful to you and give u a satisfying life both emotionally, financially and sexually.

I didn't know there were ';duties'; they are supposed to do. My husband helps but there is no assigned list of things he is supposed to do. We work as a couple to do things around the house.

This is 2008...all of the duties go to the children of age and the husband chills out on the couch with a Beer and Momma eat Bons Bons and watches soaps.
