What should i do as a bestman in a marriage ceremoney?

I have just been informed by a friend that i will be his bestman in his upcoming wedding ceremony.i have only less than a month to do all the necessay speeches i will use that day.i dont know where to start. What else is required of me?Its just the first time i will be engaged in such a responsibility.Where do i start and end? What should i do as a bestman in a marriage ceremoney?
first you ask the groom what he needs then work from there. If you have to pull together a bachelor party ask the groom what he would want. The only other responsibility is making a speech and think of something from the heart or a funny story about you and your friend. Keep it short and sweet, and enjoy the day. What should i do as a bestman in a marriage ceremoney?
you start with how good he needs to be to his wife and that he is your best friend and that how much he means to you and that you wish him the best of luck.!!
first a bachelor party, a real kick *** one.. then you need to be helpful in any way that you can. and you also need to make a speach for the wedding day!!! good luck
Make sure he gets a good party....and go with a spontaneous speech at the reception.
Make sure when you give him a bachelor party that you do not include anything that may compromise his stability with his wife to be. Put HIS best interest first and respect his wife so life is easier on him when it is all said and done. I would make the toast classy and warm and not full of roasts.
You need to ask your friend how you can help him and be available always. The best man holds and gives the ring to the groom so make sure you don't lose it, j/k. As far as the speech goes. Think about your friendship and what it means for him to marry the woman that he is engaged to.
Ask the groom what he needs done.

Organize the Bachelor's party. (in good taste).

Take responsbility of returning tuxedos to the rental place.

Help the bride and groom transport necessities, like luggage, to and from the church, hotel, airport, etc....
