Why is there so much complaining about declining marriage rates, isnt it better if?

men do not get married in the first place if they can not find wife material, or women, instead of getting married anyway and contributing torwards making a mockery of marriage ?

If you want to be an indipendent modern feminist women, isnt it better that woman stays single and does not make a mans life miserable ?

If a man wants to be free and unattatched isnt it better he stays unmarried, rather than getting married and acting unmarried ?Why is there so much complaining about declining marriage rates, isnt it better if?
Yes, if people feel they can't stay in a faithful marriage til they are dead, they should remain single. Why is there so much complaining about declining marriage rates, isnt it better if?
Well, it used to be that people worked their tails off to build a pioneer home and feed their kids, and they died at about 45 or 50.

So, that's about 30 years of having sex with one person, and the disease rates must have been much lower,

and they were so darned busy, many of them, that affairs may jsut not have happened as much for lack of time and access and ability to hide from small town gossip.

Now, we have people starting at 15, still, but going on with their lives until 90 years old.

75 years with one person!

Shoot me.

I'll do it myself.

So, I still prefer some marriage and some attempt at curbing the spread of HIV, HPV, and all of that other crap!

But I don't expect it to last til death do us part.
Nobody can ';make'; a man or woman's life miserable...they choose to be miserable or not...just like they choose to be happy or not. If you don't want to marry, then don't. Don't presume to know what other men or women want, or how they behave when together. If a man were a real man, he wouldn't act unmarried when married...apparently you feel there aren't many real men (alas, you may be correct).
One day you will fall in love and want to be the only one getting it. Then you will get married.
Sounds like a plan to me.
