What is your opinion on the same-sex marriage issue?

Should same-sex couples be allowed to marry? Why or why not? What is your opinion on the same-sex marriage issue?
Don't care who anyone marries. It doesn't effect me in any way shape or form. Who am i to tell someone who they can or can not have for a life partner. What is your opinion on the same-sex marriage issue?
People who happen to have a sexual preference for the same sex are human beings. They are people as you and I. They are somebody's son, daughter, friend, cousin, aunt, uncle, etc. To hear from people such as 'Someboy' say they should be eradicated is shocking and disgusting to me - the fact he received some thumbs up is disturbing. Any one of you could be facing a close relative or friend who is gay - so, do you eradicate them as well? This kind of prejudice, hatred, and judgment is not religious and not of God. It is cruel, unjust, and evil. They are people, created by God, the only difference is who they love.
Of course they should be legally able to do so. There's no reasonable reason not to allow it. Same age limits, etc as hetero couples.

Why deny people the right to marry and the legal benefits thereof, because of something they cannot help? They can't control their attraction to people of the same sex...none of us chose to like only guys or only gals or both...it's simply how we feel. We are attracted to who we are attracted to. Hardly seems right to punish some people for that because they are different from the majority.
My own opinion%26gt; NO, it is so confusing to children, even though same sex people try to tell us otherwise. Also, there is the problem of health insurance, should they get that too? I think they can be together of course, I do not hate them, just do not think they should have the sacred right to marriage.
I suppose if they really want to, but I do not believe churches should be forced to perform cerremonies that go against what they believe. There should be mutual respect there.

I think same sex marriage is coming, as will same sex divorces clogging up the court system, because nobody remains faithful or honors the vows anymore. Nobody.
honestly. i really wish they would pass this law already so everyone can stop complaining. yes i think if you love someone you should have the same rights. but in all honesty have you looked at the divorce rate? do you know the hassle of a divorce? seriously i wish they would outlaw marriage all together for example a co worker of my husband ( whom is a police officer) was married to a woman whom signed his name on things and did insurance fraud. This guy was an amazing cop and since she had done that he lost his job and ended up in jail right next to her until they could figure out what is going on. so if you wanna deal with the headache go ahead. but honestly it is not all that it is cracked up to be
why is this a question its a no brainer hell yeah they should be allowed to marry their human arent they? last time i checked i a gay woman am a human being everyone deserves to be happy. i long to be married someday and no longer have to call my girlfriend girlfriend but my WIFE!
Yes, they should. There is no reason for them not to be able to be binded legally and officially in a formal ceremony that the government recognizes.

There is no logic that explains to me why they should not be able to marry.
Yes, they should be allowed. If individual churches don't want to participate, that's fine, but any same-sex couple should be able to go down to the county clerk, get a license, and be married by a judge.
no, its an abomination says God, he has givem them over to a reprobate mind, Romans 1;28. Marraige is between one man and one woman, heaven and earth shall pass away but the word of God shall never pass away.
No good until God and the Bible approve it, which isnt going to happen anytime soon. Personally, I really dont care who marries who but dont force it down our throats to agree with it like Obama and Pelosi are doing with their crap too
Yes i feel they should. They pay taxes and follow the same guide lines as heterosexual couples.
I believe it's not our (or the government's, for that matter) place to decide who can get married and who can't.
NO cause it's just not right.
