easy 10 pointsWhat are moral, legal or social impendiments to marriage in society today?
The term ';impediments to marriage'; has a specific legal meaning in some places, and a specific religious meaning in many traditional churches in terms of church law. I don't really know what you mean so I guess I'll just assume you mean it more generally.
Some legal impediments:
1. You have to be of age (this varies by state). Also in some states you may be underage provided that your parents consent to your marriage.
2. You can only be married to one person at a time.
3. You may not marry your first cousin or any member of your immediate biological family.
