In what way do people claim gay marriage infringes on their own rights?

If people think it is ';morally wrong';, why not try to outlaw all sins? Why stop at homosexuality and not include breaking the Sabbath, disobeying your parents, etc.?In what way do people claim gay marriage infringes on their own rights?
Seriously; when you allow people to get married, they pay for marriage licenses, they get stuck with the marriage penalty on their taxes and they help stimulate the economy when they set up housekeeping and again when they get divorced. Imagine what would happen if we legalized prostitution. We could make a huge dent in the national debt if they had to pay taxes and imagine the lives and money that would be saved if they had to stay healthy to work and they could completely skip the pimps and drug dealers. Don't like it? Don't do it!In what way do people claim gay marriage infringes on their own rights?
Because marriage is supported by my tax dollars and you are forcing me to support an activity that I consider wrong. Remove said tax support and I will not care what you do.

Athei-love %26lt;3: Great, then campaign against it, nobody is stopping you. But you at least agree that it is valid to object to funding an activity you do not support and that it is OK for a person to campaign against public funding of something that he/she disagrees with.
It gives them ';icky'; images in their heads I guess....

And they won't do that, because then divorcing would be illegal, and Christians have the highest percentage of divorce in the United States.
To the first poster... I do not support tax expemt churches, yet MY tax dollars make up for the lost income to the state because of that.. AND you take money from people who DONT HAVE IT to boot.
There is no way. You won't get many coherent answers on this as I've been trying to get one for years.

See what I mean? How is marriage supported by tax dollars. What about my tax dollars!
