Does my marriage certificate have to be certified for me to be able to go on a cruise?

I'm 20 turning 21 in a few months but my FI is 24. I was reading over the rules and regulations and apparently the person under 21 needs to be with a person 25 or older.

We are getting married that Saturday and selling out that Sunday. Does my marriage certificate have to be certified or will a copy pass? We do have our passports and ect.Does my marriage certificate have to be certified for me to be able to go on a cruise?
Ask the cruise line. You can't be the first newlyweds they've accomodated.

Also, many couples have different surnames. They'll likely just take your word for it.Does my marriage certificate have to be certified for me to be able to go on a cruise?
You will be fine. You don't need to be married to go on a cruise together, so no one will worry much about the marriage certificate. Your passport will be in your maiden name, I would guess and this is to show the difference between the passport and the reservation?

People go on cruise honeymoons all the time. Whatever documentation the officiant gives you will be sufficient.
