Well once you get your license you have 60 days in most states to get married. Now if you get married in the court house like I did you get your license right there. But if you get married in a church the person who marries you signs it sends it in and you should receive it in 2-3 weeks. That is how long it took my mom to get hers back and she got married in Philadelphia two years ago.How long does it take to receive marriage certificate?
I had to wait for the courthouse paperwork so it took a little over a week after the wedding.
